Integral Dream

The Work of Nishad Cote (aka Nish Dubashia)

OUR VISION

To imagine and discover the Unity of Everything –

Beyond heaven and hell

Beyond yesterday and tomorrow

Beyond countries and religions

Beyond me and you

Where the inside and the outside become one

And the one and the many become as nothing

About Nishad

Born in London in 1966, a second-generation immigrant to Indian parents, Nishad spent much of his childhood absorbed in Hindu mythology and Bible stories.

Although pursuing a career in IT after graduating from the University of Warwick with a degree in Mathematics, his main interest and driving force in life has always been the serious study and practice of spirituality (mostly in the context of Hindu and Buddhist non-dualism), interpreted through the lens of Ken Wilber’s Integral Theory and (more recently) Don Beck’s Spiral Dynamics.

Nishad is a published author of two novels (Gifted and Dancing with Angels) and a shorter book (The Unity of Everything) containing his 1991 conversation with physicist David Bohm, and has spoken at international conferences about his “Diamond Model”; a universal pattern he believes might help us gain some understanding of cross-religious commonalities.

Gifted

Nishad Cote

The story of Jack Jones, an exceptionally intelligent fourteen year old, who is selected to study at the prestigious Highborn Academy, but who struggles to meet all of the normal challenges of teenage years: friendship, family, falling in love and finding oneself.

Gifted briefly entered the UK Amazon Top 20 in one of the Young Adult categories and reached the quarter-finals of a major international writing competition.

The Unity Of Everything

Nish Dubashia

The story of a young Buddhist student who is invited to discuss the ultimate nature of reality with one of the greatest theoretical physicists of the twentieth century.

The Unity of Everything has been referenced in academic journals and workshops, and briefly reached Number One in a major UK best-selling chart in the “Religion and Science” category.

Dancing With Angels

Nishad Cote

The story of John Peters, a devout Christian whose faith is shattered when his wife and baby daughter are killed in a tragic car accident. Travelling across the country trying to find some meaning to his life, John meets spiritual teacher Eliahu Jacobs and his beautiful daughter Angela, who together help John to heal from his pain and to find love and happiness again.

Dancing with Angels has been endorsed by Oxford scholar and best-selling writer Anne Baring, who has described it as gripping, fascinating, illuminating and brilliant.
